In an effort to give back to both the domestic and international communities by helping children gain exposure to the visual arts through photography, a portion of net proceeds from all PhotoEnrichment Programs events will be donated to 100cameras.org.
100cameras.org is “a charitable nonprofit organization that identifies children living in unjust conditions and gives them cameras to document their lives. One hundred percent of the money from the children’s purchased prints is given back to their community to meet physical needs and empower sustainable growth.”
In addition to helping raise awareness within these communities, PhotoEnrichment Programs plans to work with 100cameras.org to spearhead the accumulation of donated camera equipment and photographic accessories, as well as to raise much needed capital. We’ll then give 100 percent of these donations to 100cameras.org so that they can continue to provide these and other necessities to their partner organizations who in turn will distribute them to those in need.
